SOGA and SFAB Funding

SOGA - The Student Organization Grant Allocation Board distributes funds to student organizations recognized through the Student Activities & Organizations Office, supporting their activities, events, travel, and services. SOGA is a Student Resource initiative supported by Purdue Student Government.   SOGA provides allocated funding through a prioritization system, events most likely to be funded are those that are on campus, free, and open to the Purdue community, the last prioritization is equipment for the student organization. SFAB - The Student Fee Advisory Board (SFAB) convenes to allocate the money collected from your (undergraduate) Student Activity Fee during the Spring Semester of each year. This money is reserved for student-driven programs and initiatives that aim to better the campus experience for every undergraduate student. Any undergraduate student is eligible to apply for requests of $15,000 or more but must be connected to a business department via a student organization OR a university department. 

The details of the FUNDING GUIDELINES & REQUIREMENTS and the APPLICATIONS are available online. Any Undergraduate student can submit an application as long as the listed requirements are met. Past proposals that have been sponsored include TEDxPurdue, Concert Series, 3D Printer Lab resources, Hackathons, CARE Peer Education programs, Speakers, Cultural events, PU Comedy Expansion Initiative, Rock the Quad, Fall 2018 Influenza Vaccination Clinic, 3 Day Start Up Event, The Purdue Review and many more.
